November 2011 - The Community is Growing! - The Design Review Committee has recently approved 3 beautiful custom homes in The Preserve ranging in size from 5,000-8,000 s.f. Construction on 2 of the homes has already started! Look for activity to continue as 2 other owners should be submitting their plans in the near future.

July 2011 - The Preserve Re-Opening - 2011 looks to be a very good year for The Preserve. Since taking all of the custom lots off the market in 2008, there will be 4-6 new custom homes begin construction this year. Due to begin construction are owner occupied homes on homesites 6, 8, 24 and 26 ranging in size from 5,000 to 8,500 s.f. The Preserve also plans to offer 3 lots for sale this year with conceptual plans including budgets for homes ranging in size from 5,500- 7,000 s.f. Jan 12, 2008 - A nature walk - From The Preserve down to the waterfalls in the canyons was led by Mike Kirby of the San Diego Natural History Museum. Over 20 of the community joined us in a 4 mile trek and learned some of the amazing geological and Paleo features all around the property. In March we will be led back on the trails by one of the Citys best animal trackers and check out some of the animal tracks and the animals behavior.

Jan 1, 2008 - 2008 will be an exciting year for The Preserve at Del Mar. - There are 6 new homes to start in The Preserve and will bring 15 new kids into the neighborhood. That will bring the total up to 10 families with 24 children. It will only get better and the dream of The Preserve will become reality? the safest, healthiest and beautiful development in all of San Diego!
